It feels like there are times that seem to be flying by anymore. I started this year off with an extra girl living in our home...She came to us from Germany and stayed until she finished school in May. In March and new grandson, born on our wedding anniversary...he had us concerned as he spent time in the NICU, but is released and growing like a weed. May our student graduated, flies home to Germany and we look at working on a wedding. June our son marries a young lady that we are proud to have as a part of this family. We loose a grandchild before we get to meet them and have other bumps along the way, but as we reach Thanksgiving we find many things to be thankful for. God has blessed us beyond belief. We give thanks for His Mercy and Grace, for dying for us so we can be saved...which brings me to the Christmas season, such a joyful time. With all the SNOW and beautiful white. Who doesn't love this time of year. I pray that all of you have a wonderful 2015 year and find the joy given to you!!
And for all the work I have done this year....I have to tell you that I have been busy and enjoy every minute of my time in my sewing area....
And for all the work I have done this year....I have to tell you that I have been busy and enjoy every minute of my time in my sewing area....
I was selected to quilt the "shop hop" quilt for a local fabric shop
I was selected to quilt the local Quilt Guild's Raffle quilt for 2015 and the wall hanging they give away to a guild member.
Many people do not realize the honor I feel being asked to quilt one of their pieces...I always feel such joy adding to the beauty of their work.
Thank you to all of you that have trusted me so far and in advance to any that take a chance on me!!
